In July, we went to see the Lower Mesa Falls. It was a beautiful sight. However, we did not get to stay long. We went on a short little hike while we were there and had a picnic.
Below is a picture of Leo pointing out the way.
We found a little back trail with a really nice view of the falls. The kids enjoyed a rest in the shade there.
A nice family offered to take a picture of all of us with the falls as a background.
You can see Arden's stick collection here. I not sure what criteria the sticks had to possess in order to make the collection, but they had to be pretty special in order for her to select them.
