Easter Celebration

To teach the kids about Easter and the events leading up to the Resurrection, we had a mini Passover feast. We had some roast lamb, romaine lettuce, unleavened bread, and lots of grape juice. We did not get too complicated since the kids are still young, but we talked about why the Jews ate those foods and what the foods were to remind them of. To make it more special, we ate on "real" plates and drank from "real" glasses.

I like what you did a lot. We tried to do a "true meaning of Easter" Easter but Keyan was too distracted by the goodies Omi & Pop-pop had sent. I think next year we'll let him open and play with those things the day before and let Easter just be Easter.

Btw- I love the pictures of the kids, especially with the glasses in front of them. Keyan keeps saying, "Whoa, cool!" I bet the kids felt extra special eating with the nice dishes :)

A Passover meal is a great idea.

I can see that the Real Glasses were a big hit!
